Amund Brede Svendsen’s areas of concentration are patents, trademarks, unfair competition law and trade secrets (contentious and non-contentious). Extensive litigation experience in these areas, but also in commercial matters. Admitted to the Supreme Court.
Litigating patents (especially pharmaceuticals, biosimilars and oil and gas services industry). Advising on patents and trademarks validity and infringement issues and on issues relating to employee inventors’ rights, trade secrets, unfair competition and marketing law, and representing clients from all sectors in disputes relating to these areas; drafting technology transfer, R&D and consortium agreements; IP-related commercial litigation. Experience as an arbitrator in international commercial arbitration cases.
