Sigrid Toft Fløystad focuses on both contentious and non-contentious matters in all industry sectors, especially in the areas of patents, trademarks, trade secrets, unfair competition and marketing law. She also has a particular experience in regulatory food law.
Early in her career Sigrid became involved in the drafting of legislation on access to genetic resources in Norwegian nature. She has worked in particular for clients in the life sciences industry, both in patent litigation (small and big molecules) and on transactions and with regulatory matters. As an in-house IP counsel and General Counsel of the consumer brand supplier TINE SA, Sigrid gained in-depth knowledge of the food industry and its regulatory framework.
